Not Even Water? It is true, fasting requires abstaining from food and WATER from sun up to sun down. Those who fasts know the feeling of the first sip after a long day of fasting. However the absence of clean drinking water is a reality majority of the world faces every day. 1 in 3 persons globally do not have access to safe drinking water. According to the World Health Organization; billions of global citizens, around the world are suffering from poor access to water, sanitation, hygiene and approximately 2.2 billion people around the world do not have safely managed drinking water. 

Water is life and vital for the human survival. There is no greater blessing than the opportunity to quench your thirst. 

This Ramadan, I am calling in friends, family and colleagues to support this campaign towards establishing a safe water access with Islamic Reliefs Canada fund towards Water for Life. A fund to help communities facing water scarcity access clean and safe water. With your support we can help reach over 200,000 people through over 100 water wells, hand pumps, and water infrastructure to provide clean water for life.
