Who We Are
White Rock Muslim Association is a growing and vibrant Muslim community serving South Surrey, White Rock, surrounding areas since 2006 and at times even neighboring communities across the border. Mashallah , our community has grown many-fold over the past few years. With the acquisition of our new musallā in 2023, the masjid has become an even more active and central hub for our community. Alḥamdulillāh, alongside daily prayers, Jumuʿah, Eid, and Tarāwīḥ, we currently offer a wide range of programs that address the religious , educational, and social needs of all age groups. There is a strong and intentional focus on our youth—the future of our community—through children’s programming, youth-specific initiatives for young men and sisters, daily madrasa programs, and a weekend Islamic school. In addition, several other initiatives are active across the community, including the Humanitarian Committee, the Seniors Sisters Support Group, and a robust Education Committee that supports and oversees our educational programming. We are also blessed to host educational lectures featuring national and international speakers.

At this time, we are excited to partner with Islamic Relief Canada through their Ramadan matching program. This collaboration will help support not only our masjid’s maintenance and operational costs, but also the continuation and growth of our programs—particularly those focused on nurturing and empowering our youth, our future generation. We strongly encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to support this initiative through the Islamic Relief Ramadan matching program, where every dollar donated during the month of Ramadan will be matched 2-to-1, multiplying both the reward and the impact of your ṣadaqah and making it a lasting ṣadaqah jāriyah, in shā’ Allāh.
