MIST| BHSS Hornets for Gaza Aid

Gaza is facing one of the worst healthcare emergencies right now. Hospitals are overcrowded, bombed and destroyed, clinics destroyed, and barely any medical supplies to treat the wounded or in critical condition. There is so much uncertainty and everything has collapsed. Children are suffering from trauma, malnutrition, and untreated injuries with no access to proper care.

Our campaign, BHSS Hornets Healing Gaza, is committed to support Islamic Relief Canada and their emergency efforts to deliver critical healthcare such as implementing mobile clinics, performing life-saving surgeries, and providing psychosocial support to families and orphans who need it most and have lost everything.

While Islamic Relief also works in Syria and Yemen, our donations will specifically focus on Gaza, where the crisis is most severe.

This connects to the MIST 2025 theme, “A Legacy of Learning: Turning Knowledge into Action.” The doctors, nurses, and aid workers on the ground are using their knowledge every day to save lives. They are proof that learning doesn’t end in the classroom, it’s being actioned real-time during severe emergency situations and being hands on to help people in need. Our campaign is inspired by them and driven to support their efforts!
