What is this for?

The funds raised will go towards Islamic Relief’s projects in Morocco. This project in Morocco will empower vulnerable individuals and communities and engage with orphan children. Besides supporting the Inspire program, funds raised will go towards improving access and quality of education to students.  $80 can cover clothing gifts for an orphan $90 can cover the expenses for an orphan for 1 month $270 can cover the expenses for an orphan for 3 months $540 can cover the expenses for an orphan for 6 months $1,080 can sponsor an orphan for 1 year

Who are we?

The Inspire volunteer abroad program at Islamic Relief Canada is a unique opportunity that provides hands-on education to volunteers on the field and at home.  Over the past 7 years, we have taken 40 cohorts to 9 different countries to learn from our teams and right-holders on the ground. This program focuses on having volunteers raise donations and awareness while allowing them to serve their communities locally and globally.  Through this experience, IRC volunteers will engage directly with vulnerable community members and orphans in Morocco in order to better understand their circumstances and raise awareness. Support our volunteers and take part in supporting this noble cause!

What will I be doing?

Over the duration of the field study, we will focus on providing orphans with psychosocial support and educational activities in addition to house rehabilitation, distribution of food and hygiene items and other community service activities.
