Since October 2023, Israel has carried out daily massacres, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and starvation against Palestinian civilians in Gaza. We have witnessed unimaginable death and destruction that has left the Gaza Strip in ruins, killing over 61,000 Palestinians - including 18,000 children, injuring 154,000 more, and forcibly displacing 1.9 million people.
In Gaza, one person is killed every 12 minutes. While 244,000 people are facing catastrophic hunger (IPC Phase 5) amidst a blockade on food and aid. Alarming heatwaves are further putting Palestinians at serious risk of dehydration, hunger, and sickness
Islamic Relief is on the ground in Rafah, Khan Younis, Deir Al Balah, Zawayda, Gaza City, and North Gaza, delivering urgent aid wherever possible. This past month, we distributed 450 hot meals, 6,000 litres of clean drinking water, medical checkups to 209 pregnant women, and provided 150 children with psychosocial support.
