This Dhul Hijjah, while many of us gather with family and celebrate Eid, millions of families around the world are facing hunger, displacement, and crisis. From the devastated streets of Palestine, to families struggling in Sudan, Pakistan, Lebanon, and Yemen, countless parents are wondering how they will provide a meal for their children this Eid.
Through the BC Muslim Sports Association Qurbani Campaign in partnership with Islamic Relief Canada, we are turning our sacrifice into hope. Together, our community of athletes, youth, families, and supporters can provide fresh meat packs to vulnerable families overseas and even right here at home in Canada.
Since 1986, Islamic Relief’s global Qurbani/Udhiya program has grown from just 670 Qurbanis worldwide into one of the largest humanitarian Qurbani initiatives globally — now delivering over 230,190 Qurbanis annually and benefiting more than 2.9 million people. With over 30 years of experience, the program follows strict Islamic, ethical, and humanitarian standards to ensure sacrifices are carried out humanely and hygienically, with meat distributed immediately to families in need without waste.
This campaign is about more than Qurbani it’s about standing together as one Ummah, using our platform beyond the game, and showing that compassion has no borders. Every sacrifice carries a story of mercy, dignity, and relief for a family in need.
Qurbani shares start at just $125, making it possible for all of us to take part in delivering relief and spreading joy this Eid al-Adha.
This Dhul Hijjah, join us in making sure no family is forgotten.
