Sudan is facing one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises. Conflict, displacement and disease have left families without reliable access to healthcare, nutrition, clean water and protection, and women and children are carrying the heaviest burden.
Throughout 2027, Islamic Relief will deliver an integrated response for displaced families in Blue Nile and Port Sudan:

Healthcare: A Mobile Health Team reaching hard-to-reach camps with more than 10,000 medical consultations, plus medicines and supplies for local health centres

Nutrition: Malnutrition screening for 6,500 young children and pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, with emergency referrals for the most severe cases

Clean water and hygiene: Hygiene, dignity and water-storage kits to help families stay healthy and prevent disease

Safe spaces: Places where children can play, learn and heal, and where women and girls can find support
