Our brothers and sisters in Palestine are facing an unimaginable humanitarian crisis. Across Gaza, tens of thousands have been killed or injured, and millions have been displaced from their homes. Families are struggling each day without enough food, clean water, shelter, or access to basic medical care. Behind every number are children, parents, and elders enduring hardship, loss, and uncertainty. The students and staff of the Calgary Islamic School, Akram Jomaa Campus, have come together this Ramadan to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza. We invite you to give your Zakat to help provide life saving essentials, including clean water, nutritious food, emergency shelter, and critical healthcare. A Mother’s Ramadan in Gaza

As the sun sets in Gaza, a mother prepares for iftar with what little she has. There is no full table, no warm meal waiting, and sometimes not even clean water to drink. Her children sit beside her, hungry and tired, after another day without safety, stability, or a place they can truly call home.

This is the reality for millions of families. Displaced from their homes, grieving loved ones, and struggling to survive, they are facing each day without the basic necessities many of us take for granted.

This Ramadan, the students and staff of Calgary Islamic School, Akram Jomaa Campus, are coming together to stand with our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Through your Zakat, you can help provide food, clean water, shelter, and essential medical care to families who are simply trying to survive.
