Empowering Our Mosques, Empowering Our Community



*What Happened?*
We’re facing an unprecedented crisis at Al Ihsan. In a heartbreaking turn of events, our facilities have suffered massive damage due to burst sprinkler pipes. Tragically, this disaster has left all of upstairs and downstairs flooded, causing extensive damage.
Multiple burst sprinkler pipes have led to a major flooding.
All floors are inundated, affecting every corner of our beloved center.
Vital resources like books, library materials, desks, and electronics are ruined.
Structural integrity is compromised, impacting walls, carpets, our wudu area, kitchen, and showers.

*What Has been Impacted*
All onsite programs have been either moved online or suspended, resulting in thousands of dollars in lost fees and in-person donations.
We are still paying rent of close to $6000 per month even though it may be many months before our facility is usable again.
We are still paying salaries to all our teachers
We had multiple community events planned over the coming months which have now all been cancelled

*How You Can Help*
1. Make lots of du’ā to Allah to make this process easier for us and for the community.

4. Take the responsibility of raising funds through your family & friends, Masjids, and other institutes. We need 40 people to take the responsibility of $5000 each. Please contact us if you can help.
5. Get in touch with us if you will be able to help with the restoration process including dry-walling, carpeting, plumbing, and other resources

About Us
Al-Ihsan Educational Foundation is a registered non-profit organization Islamic Institute, based in Surrey, BC. We provide authentic and quality Islamic Knowledge for everyone, everywhere.
Al Ihsan offers a wide range of educational programs and services for students, families, and communities all around BC. Our programs and services include, and are not limited to: full-time, part-time, and online courses, a Darul Iftaa, workshops and seminars, and more.

Our Mission
We are committed to conveying authentic and traditional knowledge using today’s technology and resources.
Serving Muslim Communities: To educate and train individuals with the practical knowledge of Qurʾān and hadith, and the wealth of Islamic knowledge preserved over the centuries, so they can thrive and prosper through the correct understanding and application of this knowledge. This is facilitated through a range of part-time and full-time programs, seminars and classes conducted through our various departments and faculties.
Serving Broader Communities: To facilitate correct understanding of Islam and Muslims in Western society through educational programs. We endeavor to openly present an accurate account of Islamic beliefs, values and practices and conduct our work with a spirit of compassion, courtesy and unity. The ultimate goal is to have a society where all faiths and ethnicities are dealt with a sense of understanding and respect. This is achieved through series of workshops, seminars and other educational programs.

About Islamic Relief [3] Islamic Relief works with communities to strengthen their resilience to calamities, and we provide vital emergency aid when disasters occur.
We help the impoverished access basic services, including education, water and sanitation, as well as healthcare. We provide lasting routes out of poverty through our sustainable development schemes. Our integrated approach to progress is transforming communities worldwide.
We tackle the root causes of poverty and make sure that the world’s most vulnerable people have real influence in both our programs and advocacy.
