I am honoured to be taking part in Islamic Relief Canada's Inspire Umrah Program, where I will have the opportunity to accompany orphaned children and their widowed mothers on the blessed journey of Umrah. For many of these families, this is more than a pilgrimage—it is a chance to find comfort, healing, and renewed hope after experiencing immense hardship. I am grateful to be part of this meaningful initiative and hope to make a positive impact alongside these incredible families.
What is the Inspire Program?
The Islamic Relief Canada Inspire Program brings together passionate volunteers and community leaders who are committed to making a difference through service, advocacy, and fundraising. Participants raise awareness and essential funds to support Islamic Relief Canada's humanitarian projects around the world while inspiring others to give back to those in need.
As part of this year's program, participants are helping support an Umrah experience for orphaned children and their widowed mothers and offering them the opportunity to visit the sacred cities of Makkah and Madinah, strengthen their faith, and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
