“They ask you, [O Muhammad], what they should spend [in charity]. Say, “Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveller. And whatever you do of good – indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.” (Qur’an | 2:215)

Orphan; “a child younger than 18 who is living without one or both parents” (Islamic Relief USA). This includes parents that have died, disappeared, or have abandoned their children. It is believed that there are over 100 million orphans across the globe (UNICEF). Our campaign, “Open Arms for Orphan Support”, seeks to help support children who have lost their parents to build a stable and successful future. These children are in need of care, and we made it our mission to help them. This campaign is dedicated to transforming the lives of orphaned and overlooked children by creating a support system of raising donations and awareness. By securing funding, we aim to provide these children with nutritional food, clean water, access to their rights, and removing barriers to education. The most important aspect is to give them the childhood they deserve.

Your support does not only help orphans receive basic necessities, but finances lasting solutions. By donating, you can help create safe environments for children, protect them from child labour, child marriage, poverty, human trafficking, and many other inhumane circumstances. International Labor Organization and UNICEF estimates that 138 million children are engaged in child labour according to the Child Labour: Global estimates 2024, trends and the road forward. Orphaned children are especially vulnerable to these situations without any established systems in place to care for them.
