This campaign celebrates the legacy of Zakia Yassine by seeking to gather $5,000 for the construction of a water well in her honor. This well will supply decades of fresh and clean water to underserved communities that urgently require essential resources, including food and shelter. By doing so, we celebrate how Zakia Yassine, a name that means 'pure,' was a source of pure love to everyone around her. She often highlighted that her name often held a beautiful meaning of "Purity". Now, the purity of her love can continue to positively impact the lives of many, just as she brightened lives during her time with us. With 'Water of Zakia,' or 'ماء زكية' in Arabic, which translates to 'Water of Purity,' we create a living tribute to her. Join us in making a lasting difference and honoring a truly remarkable soul whose impact transcends her time on earth. Zakia was a beacon of kindness and joy, illuminating the lives of all who knew her. She believed deeply in the power of love. Now, even in her absence, her legacy can continue to shine by providing the essential gift of pure, clean water to vulnerable communities who are in dire need of resources, food, and shelter.
