This year, I’m taking on the adventure of a lifetime: trekking through the breathtaking mountains of Skardu, Pakistan — all to raise crucial funds for communities without access to clean water.

While this 7-day trek will challenge me physically and mentally, it is nothing compared to the daily struggles faced by millions of people around the world who lack access to safe, drinkable water.

Through this challenge, I’ve committed to raising $3,000 in support of Islamic Relief Canada’s Water for Life Project. Every step I take in Skardu will help bring clean water to families who currently walk hours each day just to find it — often from unsafe or contaminated sources.
