Hello everyone! I’m excited to share that In a few weeks I’ll be travelling to Pakistan Islamabad to volunteer with Islamic relief Canada! Our mission is to uplift 4364 widowed families by enhancing their socio-economic conditions through various interventions:
💼 Livelihood Support: Equipping guardian/mothers from sponsored orphan families with vocational skills, providing them with sustainable means of income.
💚 Healthcare and Psychosocial Support: Improving the health status of widows and their families by creating linkages with healthcare service providers, ensuring access to free healthcare facilities in the project locales.
📚 Education and Social Empowerment: Providing 30 higher education scholarships to deserving students from widowed families based on merit, nurturing bright minds for a brighter future.
