Restore Sight. Restore Hope.

I’m taking part in Run for Palestine (RFP)–London and fundraising to support Islamic Relief Canada’s Eye Cataract Surgery Project in Gaza, helping people affected by the ongoing crisis access essential eye care and life-changing surgery. Access to specialized medical care in Gaza remains extremely difficult, especially for those living with cataracts and other serious eye conditions. Treatment can help people regain their independence and ability to work, learn, and care for their families.

Through Phase One, 9,782 people received support and 1,136 ophthalmic surgeries were performed, including 359 cataract surgeries. Phase 2 is now underway, with the need for specialized eye care continuing to grow.

$1,200 CAD can help fund one cataract surgery, helping restore someone’s sight and improve their quality of life.
