As Inspire Alumni who volunteered abroad in Türkiye supporting Syrian orphaned chldren and refugees, we had the honour of witnessing firsthand the impact of Islamic Relief Canada’s programs. We facilitated psychosocial activities for children while also providing essential aid. We witnessed how deeply these programs touched their lives - bringing joy, comfort, and renewed hope to children who needed it most.
Seeing this work on the ground showed us how important these orphan care programs are. They provide essentials like food, healthcare, education, safe housing, and emotional support so children can grow up with dignity in their own communities.
