Prairie Muslim Association of Saskatoon (PMA) Masjid has become one of the fastest growing Muslim community spaces in Saskatoon. Over the past few years, the number of families, students, and young professionals attending prayers and programs has grown significantly. Alhamdulillah, this growth reflects the strength of the community — but it has also created an urgent challenge.

During Jumu’ah, Ramadan prayers, community programs, and special gatherings, the Masjid often reaches full capacity. Many attendees are forced to pray in hallways or wait for space to open. This not only affects comfort during worship but also limits the Masjid’s ability to host educational programs, youth activities, and community events that strengthen the Muslim community.

The PMA Expansion Plan aims to create a larger, more welcoming space that can properly serve the growing community. This expansion will allow the Masjid to accommodate more worshippers, host community programs, support youth engagement, and provide a central place for Muslims in Saskatoon to gather, learn, and grow in their faith.

Through this campaign in partnership with Islamic Relief Canada, the community will have a trusted and transparent way to contribute toward building a stronger future for the Masjid and the generations that will benefit from it. Every contribution helps build a space that will serve the community for decades to come — a place of worship, learning, charity, and unity.
