Laurier MSA x IRC is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Palestine and Sudan.

The people of Gaza and Sudan are facing unimaginable hardship. In Gaza, over 1.9 million people have been forcefully displaced, enduring over 400 days of indiscriminate attacks, a relentless blockade, and starvation conditions. More than 105,976 have been injured and 44,664 lives lost, while a polio epidemic spreads due to a lack of medication, clean water, and food. Meanwhile, in Sudan, over 9 million people have been forced to flee their homes, including 2 million children under five. With 70% of healthcare facilities shut down and 30,000 people falling into crisis levels of food insecurity daily, the humanitarian crisis is devastating.

Islamic Relief is on the ground delivering lifesaving aid. In Gaza, we have distributed 54 million hot meals, provided hygiene kits, clean water, and psychosocial support for children. In Sudan, as healthcare collapses and hunger escalates, immediate relief is critical.

Anas ibn Malik reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, should I tie my camel and trust in Allah, or should I leave her untied and trust in Allah?” The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, “Tie her and trust in Allah.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2517]

We raise our hands in du’a while also tying our camels—taking action to bring relief. With your support, we aim to provide essential aid, including food, water, medical supplies, and shelter to families in Gaza and Sudan.
