Our Islamic Relief Regina core team asked ourselves a simple question: How can we raise funds for a good cause in a way that feels fresh, fun, and engaging for our community?

That’s where the idea was born: a livestreamed cooking competition.

Instead of just hosting another event, we thought: why not step into the spotlight ourselves and put on a show? This time, the core team won’t just be hosting — we’ll be competing head-to-head in the kitchen.

Here’s the twist: it’s not just about cooking.

👨‍🍳 Team Boys vs. 👩‍🍳 Team Girls will each start with limited items and ingredients. The only way they can “unlock” more ingredients to improve their dish is through your donations. The more you support a team, the more items and ingredients they’ll get to cook a better meal.

So it’s not just a kitchen battle — it’s a fundraising race.
