Our Story

We are a small group of students in Canada, more than ten thousand kilometers away from Sudan. Even from this distance, we cannot ignore what is happening. According to the United Nations, over eight million people in Sudan have been displaced. Entire families have lost their homes and are struggling with hunger, fear and uncertainty.

We saw the pictures. We saw the videos. At that point we had two options. We could either be helpers or we could be watchers. And watchers do nothing. Watchers see suffering and move on. Watchers add nothing to the world.

We chose not to be watchers.

We are raising what we can for Sudan. It may not be much, but it is something. Every dollar goes toward relief, food and support for people who genuinely need it.

If it seems small to us in this world, it will in shaa Allah be heavy for you on the day of judgement. May Allah accept from all of us.
