Since April 2023, Sudan has been engulfed in a violent conflict between former allies fighting for control of the country. This crisis has had a devastating impact on civilians, forcing over 14 million people from their homes and leaving 24 million facing severe food insecurity. The destruction of water systems has pushed many to rely on unsafe drinking water, leading to outbreaks of diseases such as cholera, while nearly 80% of hospitals and clinics are no longer functioning, leaving millions without access to medical care.
