Why Support Our Local Masjid?
The Ottawa Muslim Association (OMA) has been a pillar of our community since 1965, providing prayer services, education, and social support. As the first mosque in Ottawa, the Ottawa Mosque has served generations, but it now requires urgent repairs, including: Doors & Windows – Improved security & efficiency Front Stairs – Safe access for all Heating & Air Conditioning – Year-round comfort Hot Water Tank – Reliable facilities Dome & Minaret – Preserving our heritage Beyond these upgrades, OMA is expanding programs in counseling, education, and outreach to better serve the community.
