Together, we aim to ensure vulnerable families can break their fast, access nutritious halal staples, and enjoy a dignified Ramadan experience. Ibn 'Abbas informed Ibn az-Zubayr, “I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbour goes hungry.” - Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 112 Through this program, our communities come together to feed the fasting, strengthen compassion, and ensure families can enjoy a blessed and dignified Ramadan. Last Ramadan in 2025, we supported 6,630 families across 10 regions in Canada by providing halal and culturally relevant food staples, helping communities observe the holy month with dignity and care.

Binging Hope and Relief to Those in Need!
The rising cost of food continues to impact low-income, refugee, and newcomer families across Canada.
Our efforts will be focused this Ramadan in 10 cities across Canada – including Maritimes, Ottawa, Quebec, Greater Toronto Area, West Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, North Alberta, South Alberta, British Columbia.
Through this initiative, volunteers, donors, and local partners come together to feed the fasting and ensure dignity for families observing Ramadan.
What’s in the Food Hamper?
Our teams and volunteers will work with local partner organizations to procure local food items and package them into hampers. These food boxes will be filled with culturally inclusive and nutritious foods that are essential for suhoor and iftar meals.
The food boxes will include: Dates, Lentils, Halal Meat, Flour, Rice, Oil, Instant Coffee, Spices, and other Ramadan staples.
