uOttawa Charity Week 2026: Adam's Waves of Unity Campaign

For this year's Charity Week at the University of Ottawa, I am partnering with Islamic Relief to provide aid for vulnerable children by supporting health projects in Gaza, relief in Sudan & South Sudan, water and sanitation projects across Africa & South Asia; and empowering vulnerable communities. Through this initiative, your kind and generous donations can change the lives of the most vulnerable children in the world.

Countless Drops of the Ocean

The theme for this year's Charity Week at the University of Ottawa is the Waves of Unity. It symbolizes the impact of countless beautiful drops that assemble and turn into magnificent waves of the ocean. The drop represents the singular action of a person who is kind and brave enough to offer help to those in need. When that same caring person repeats this beautiful action, the drops coalesce and become bigger. And when this person is joined by other compassionate people who repeat these actions, the drops accumulate until they unify and turn into a powerful wave. Through this campaign, I want to build a wave of change that can wash away and relieve some of the heavy burden carried by the most vulnerable communities of our time.
