Wells of Witness - Sadaqa Jariyah
This August I traveled to Türkiye with Islamic Relief Canada's Inspire program and worked alongside orphaned children from Syria, Palestine, the Uyghur community, and beyond. What I witnessed changed me. This campaign is my way of making sure that experience becomes something lasting. Every dollar raised goes toward a Sadaqah Jariyah water well, a source of clean water that serves hundreds of people for years and continues to give long after we're gone. Give what you can, with intention. The water keeps running.

The Water Keeps Running
This August I traveled to Türkiye with Islamic Relief Canada's Inspire program. I met Syrian kids who fled a war, Uyghur children separated from their families, children from Gaza carrying grief no child should have to carry. One boy asked me to stay longer when it was time to go. Another told me I was like an older brother to him.
I came to give something. I left having received far more than I brought.
This campaign is what I'm doing with that. A Sadaqah Jariyah water well serves hundreds of people for years. The reward keeps flowing long after the donation is forgotten, just like the water.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for them."
Give what you can. With intention. It doesn't stop giving.
