Empowering Our Mental Health Supports, Empowering Our Community
Nasheeha Mental Health is proud to offer crucial support to our Muslim community in North America, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, we need your help! Throughout the year, our community's most vulnerable members face various struggles, including suicidal ideation, domestic violence, abuse, isolation, and anxiety. Nasheeha is dedicated to supporting our community in times of need, but we're facing a critical funding challenge to keep our helpline operational 24/7.
By contributing to our campaign, you can significantly impact the lives of distressed Muslims. Your donation will directly support our efforts to answer calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah and more. With the generous support of Islamic Relief Canada, your donation will be matched, doubling your contribution's impact.
Together, we can ensure that no one in our community faces their mental health struggles alone. Stand with us as we strive to make mental health support accessible to all during this holy month. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
Quran (49:10): "The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy."
Hadith (Bukhari): "A Muslim is a brother to a Muslim. He should neither deceive him nor lie to him, nor leave him without assistance."
With gratitude,
The Nasheeha Mental Health Team
About Us
Naseeha Mental Health provides our community with the tools needed to address mental health. With our confidential helpline, our youth receives immediate, anonymous, and confidential support over the phone from 12 PM – 3 AM, 7 days a week. With our educational programs, we raise awareness within the community the stigma around mental health.
Our services are open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. We are committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental environment where individuals can discuss their concerns without fear of stigma or discrimination.
Vision and Mission
For individuals:
Being the first line of contact, we provide confidential counseling services. We empower individuals to establish clear action plans, which may include referrals to local professionals, in order to help people help themselves.
For communities:
We champion civic engagement, advocacy and public awareness by being present in our schools, conducting community workshops, and being directly involved in crisis intervention. Using our analytics, we shift our focus to where it is needed most and drive dialogue within communities
