Odoo Fundamentals for Donor Relations

This course provides hands on training for Donor Relations staff on how to use Odoo effectively and accurately.


You will complete short instructional videos, knowledge-check quizzes, and practical exercises in the Odoo training environment. Topics include donor management, payment methods, one-time and recurring donations, tax receipts, communication preferences, and Orphan Sponsorship (OSP) workflows. Successful completion ensures staff are ready to work independently and confidently in Odoo InshaAllah.


Learning Objectives:

  • Accurately locate and update donor records
  • Process one time and recurring donations correctly
  • Manage payment methods and resolve failed payments
  • Handle donor notes, acknowledgements, and preferences
  • Perform core OSP workflows
