ISNA Canada (Islamic Society of North America) is a National Organization that has been delivering high-quality programs and services to the wider Canadian Community for over 40 years. The current running programs and services include a community food bank, professional counseling services, Islamic education programs, a youth hub and sporting events, just to name a few. ISNA Canada is committed to keeping all its programs free and accessible to all members of our community including families, adults, youth and seniors. ISNA Canada has become a second home for our community through the programs and services it offers and the sense of belonging it creates. We can't continue to do this without you. Education: Islam is a religion rooted in knowledge and understanding, and we are putting our efforts to create programming that caters to all levels and ages.
Our IQRA Quran Academy serves hundreds of students every semester and facilitates both memorization and understanding of the Holy Quran.
We also offer weekly classes with multiple focus areas (Fiqh, Seerah, open Q&A sessions)
Our Visiting Scholars program brings you the best scholars and speakers from various backgrounds right here at home.
We are currently developing a ‘Fard ul ’Ain' program that will equip you with the faith essentials you need to embark on your spiritual journey.
Community Events: Big communities are build as a result of many, small moments of connection. Whether it's Eid Carnivals, Halal RibFest or sports tournaments, we bring you unique and memorable communal experiences.
Do you remember the gigantic Eid Salah at Celebration Square 2 years ago? That was us! Eid is a special time for us, Muslims, and we make sure we do it justice through our Eid congregational prayers, carnivals and activities.
We take pride in the variety of our sports programs and tournaments that cater to every interest and age.
Community Builders - Volunteer Opportunities & Development:
With over 4,000 engaged volunteers, ISNA Canada is the place to be if you want to leave an impact!
Our newly created development program allows you to delve into your passions and apply your skills to enact change. Whether you're into photography, event-planning or excel sheets, you can join us and grow your skills while giving back to the community!
Social Services:
ISNA Cares is a department dedicated to providing counselling and therapy services for FREE to our community. Whether it's pre-marital counselling, anxiety or hospital visitations, our licensed team of professional counselors and psychotherapists are there to assist you - one button away.
The ISNA Food Bank has been proudly serving for 15 years, with close to 5,000 families served on a monthly basis.
Civic Engagement:
One of our biggest mandates is advocating for our values on behalf of our community.
We will engage with fellow Muslim organizations, political advocacy groups such as NCCM and political leaders to voice our concerns/needs and facilitates means of change!
🕌 We're Also Building a Mosque in Yellowknife!
In 2021, ISNA Canada set out to complete a lofty goal of building a masjid for the most northern Muslim community in Canada. The City of Yellowknife is the capital city of The Northwest Territories and is currently populated by over 600 Muslims. In 2022, construction of the Yellowknife Mosque began and the foundation of the new Islamic Centre of Yellowknife (ICYK) is now in place. We are now well on our way to achieving the final structure found in the 3D model below. Additionally, an Imam has been hired to serve the community of Yellowknife; offering a variety of programs including Spiritual Counselling and Quran Classes

Islamic Relief works with communities to strengthen their resilience to calamities, and we provide vital emergency aid when disasters occur.
We help the impoverished access basic services, including education, water and sanitation, as well as healthcare. We provide lasting routes out of poverty through our sustainable development schemes. Our integrated approach to progress is transforming communities worldwide.
We tackle the root causes of poverty and make sure that the world’s most vulnerable people have real influence in both our programs and advocacy.
