Pakistan Floods Emergency Appeal
In just 24 hours, at least 194 people have died as monsoon floods and landslides hit Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
The destruction is overwhelming. At least 30 homes have been destroyed and a rescue helicopter crashed, killing all five crew members. Since June 26, over 650 people have died and nearly 2,000 homes damaged.
Heavy rains are expected to continue until August 21, exacerbating the crisis and increasing the risk of further casualties and displacement.
