Sudan Conflict
People in Sudan face escalating violence and danger
Civilians are suffering the brunt of violence as it rages across Sudan, with families trapped in their homes and running out of food and water.
More than 400 civilians have now been killed and thousands more injured as heavy fighting continues throughout residential areas. Hospitals are surrounded and quickly depleting of supplies, preventing the injured from accessing desperately needed medical care.
Islamic Relief is currently on the ground providing urgent medical supplies, fuel and food to hospitals, as well as food, water, cash assistance and psychosocial support. We are providing aid to both host communities and internally displaced communities in Khartoum State, North Kordofan and Al Jazirah State.
